None of our board members are paid for their service to Village of Life. They serve on the board because they believe in making a difference in the lives of others. In fact, Village of Life currently does not have any employees. Everything we do is done by volunteers. At some point we expect that to change as we grow and start serving more clients but for now we have chosen a volunteer model to help ensure that our donations are used to help the families we serve.
501(c)(3) status was approved as of January 6, 2015. Donors can deduct contributions they make from their taxes. In addition to tax deductible monetary donations, we can accept tax deductible bequests, devices, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106, or 2522.
