Executive Summary

“It takes a whole village to raise a child” yet too often these days, single parents are trying to do it on their own.  It would be nice if they did not have to.  If they had a way to join together as a village and help each other, the odds of raising their children to become the people employers really want and America desperately needs is greatly increased.

Mission

Our mission at Village of Life is to be a leader in empowering low income, single parents and their children to reach their full potential by providing safe affordable housing.

Solution

Initially, single family units, condos, townhomes, or multi-unit dwellings are being purchased using 100% of the donations received from donors. Once enough units have been purchased and rented, the rental income from the units will be used to fund the property management costs, a program manager to oversee everything, mentors for the parents, and other administrative costs for doing business. Any remaining money is to be placed into a trust account to design and build a future mixed use development containing everything a family needs to be successful. You can read more about this on our FUTURE page found by clicking the See our Future button below.
